Behind the glass

What separates us from real life? Are these real obstacles, or just imprints of our fears and doubts on the cold surface of everyday life? In the painting, a hand devoid of color, bound by monochrome everydayness, tries to touch its opposite - fiery, alive, passionate. But between them is a glass, thin and at the same time insurmountable, until we ourselves realize that it is only an illusion. Only a thin film of perception that can be overcome by changing the point of view. Traces on the surface remind of those who tried to take a step, but stopped, not daring to break this transparent border. It is a metaphor for a detached existence, where we observe our possibilities but do not dare to realize them. But what happens if you reach out a little further?
