Unite yourself

This picture is about the search for harmony in the conditions of the gap between the worlds, inside and outside of us. Two bodies, male and female, are drawn separately, but sewn together with red threads, as if by the effort of will and self-love. They meet shoulders, creating a single shape, as if reminding us that we are all made up of different parts that strive for wholeness. On the back of each is a house with a window. It is a symbol of the fact that our home is always within us - a place where strength and tenderness, rationality and sensuality, masculine and feminine coexist. The left part, female, is enveloped in the soft light of the moon - a symbol of depth, intuition, sensuality. This is the side that preserves memories, plunges into reflection, accepts and heals. Her hand embraces, giving warmth and support. The right part, male, is filled with the movement of birds - a symbol of freedom, strength of spirit, striving forward. It is dynamic, open to change, but also needs balance. The picture embodies the dichotomy of life and death, internal and external, material and spiritual, male and female. These opposites are not a conflict, but rather a complementarity that forms the harmony of the soul. Dichotomy becomes the basis for understanding ourselves and the world, because only by accepting our multifacetedness, we are able to integrate internal contradictions and achieve wholeness. By uniting ourselves, we become able to create harmony around us - between people, nature and the future. My work here is the only copy of my unique and original handiwork.
