Holding oneself back
Reflect on...
Artwork details
The struggle for inner balance in conditions when the world around is collapsing is one of the most difficult for a person. And at this time, the person himself becomes a support for himself.
The hands supporting the architectural portal symbolize not only physical but also emotional effort — the burden we carry to hold us together when everything seems to be falling apart. An architectural element is not only a symbol of support, but also a witness of time, which preserves the cracks and scars of the past.
This tension between past and present speaks to a person's ability to hold on to their inner support even when the outside world becomes chaotic.
