Red poppies

There is a legend that the goddess Flora created the poppy in order to please the lonely and sad goddess of the night. Everyone rejoiced at the flowers with which Flora adorned the earth, and only Night did not rejoice - she wandered, wrapping her head in a black veil, saddened that people did not love her, although she created stars and firefly bugs to illuminate the darkness of the night. And seeing how people rejoice in flowers, the Goddess of the Night asked Flora to give her such a flower so that people, seeing it, would love the night. Flora gave her poppies, flowers that bring people sweet dreams and dreams at night.
