Birds of peace
Reflect on...
Artwork details
This piece marks the conclusion of the first painting cycle, completed during the initial month of war — between winter and spring.
Visually, it merges the bird motif from “Spring to be” with the modular structure of “Patchwork Sky.” The birds form a rhythmic, pattern-like arrangement — as if abstract textile fragments have morphed into birds, or the birds themselves have become structural modules, like tiles or Lego bricks.
Layered across the surface, they form a protective dome — shielding the sky. This is the third intentional gesture of resistance to destruction, a compositional stand for life and peace.
