This painting is a dedication to the upcoming New Year of the Dragon. I love Japanese culture and often turn to it in my work. Dragons are ferocious predatory animals. You need to be able to find a common language with them in order not only to survive, but also to receive their protection and support. The girl plays the flute and pacifies the dragon, he does not touch her - the mellifluous music captivates him and puts him in a friendly mood.
