Summer taste
Painting by Lana Korolievskaia
80 x 45 cm • Canvas, Oil
Location:
Dnipro, Ukraine
In any Lana's still life, things turn into symbols. So, the painting "Taste of Summer" is based on the author's associations about the passing hot summer and the approaching autumn. At first glance this sunny picture charges the viewer with its positive energy and positive mood. Quince, persimmon, pomegranate, grapes, plum, cherry, orange slice are scattered on an abstract background. The bright background is associated with splashes of juicy ripe fruit juice mixed with hot summer and approaching autumn. When the June dawns, July noons, August evenings leave, they remain in our memory with the taste of the sea, sour cherries, sweet apples, oranges, pears, plums. Autumn will come after summer and will add pomegranate, quince and persimmon to the fruit basket. While you are alive, drink this wonderful life, filled with happiness and positive!
