The painting "Where the Rainbow Ends" is an homage to the ukiyo-e xylogravure "The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife" by Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai. In this work, instead of an octopus, the image of Cthulhu/Dagon (mythological creatures from the stories of Howard Lovecraft) is suggested, that is, something that symbolizes fear. The painting raises the issue of dependence on one's fears, even getting "pleasure" and adrenaline from this feeling, when the usual pattern of actions is more understandable and where a person follows a well-worn script. The color green plays a huge role, and the wild nature location in this work refers to something primal, on an instinctual level. The title itself is like a path to "the pot of gold" in the form of self-reflection, analysis, and observation of those around us and events.
