Lesia Lé Mykhniuk
Artist from Ukraine
Lesia Lé Mykhniuk was born in 1999 in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.
Through her figurative works, she explores the deep forces that shape us memory, human connection, and the quiet power of care. Her images often emerge from personal stories, family, culture, and faith, reflecting the ways we draw strength from one another and from our environment. Childhood is one thread among many, woven into a broader exploration of presence, truth, and the subtle ties that bind us.
At the center of her visual language are animals and human figures, symbols of innocence, empathy, and spiritual resilience. Her works invite viewers to consider not only individual experience but also the shared bonds and interactions that sustain life, the gentle rhythms of giving and receiving, and the harmony we seek with ourselves and others.
By intertwining memory, personal narrative, and human connection, Lesia creates images that are soft, evocative, and authentic reminders of both our inner world and the networks of care and attention that allow us to live fully

This series explores the fragile yet essential connection between people , a space of love, trust, and safety without which a person cannot fully exist. It speaks to the fundamental human need to be seen, accepted, and supported, and to how the presence of another helps us feel whole.
This work emerged from deep reflection and inner inquiry from doubt, searching, and a quiet dialogue with the self. It is a process of attentive listening to one’s inner world, an attempt to capture the subtle emotional bonds that shape our sense of closeness. Through these images, a tension unfolds between vulnerability and the need for support, revealing that true human strength often arises through connection
