Lesia Lé Mykhniuk
Artist from Ukraine
Lesia Lé Mykhniuk was born in 1999 in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.
Through her figurative works, she explores the deep forces that shape us memory, human connection, and the quiet power of care. Her images often emerge from personal stories, family, culture, and faith, reflecting the ways we draw strength from one another and from our environment. Childhood is one thread among many, woven into a broader exploration of presence, truth, and the subtle ties that bind us.
At the center of her visual language are animals and human figures, symbols of innocence, empathy, and spiritual resilience. Her works invite viewers to consider not only individual experience but also the shared bonds and interactions that sustain life, the gentle rhythms of giving and receiving, and the harmony we seek with ourselves and others.
By intertwining memory, personal narrative, and human connection, Lesia creates images that are soft, evocative, and authentic reminders of both our inner world and the networks of care and attention that allow us to live fully

Every interaction has the power to either protect or wound what someone carries within.
Love begins with recognizing this shared vulnerability. It is an act of choosing tenderness, of understanding that another person's emotional world is as real and as deserving of care as our own.
To be human is to be fragile. And perhaps our greatest responsibility is not to hide that fragility, but to meet it with compassion, patience, and love.
