Artwork details
Everyone knows about how caterpillars turn into butterflies. This is very figurative and quite applicable to the metaphorical description of many other processes. The nutritious food consumed by the caterpillar can be understood as a figurative expression of the knowledge or experience accumulated by the developing personality in the process of its spiritual path. After a period of accumulation, the caterpillar pupates, and the personality goes into a kind of asceticism. In order to assimilate food, whatever it may be - material or spiritual, quiet is necessary. Nothing should distract from this important process. And so, after a certain period of time, the shell of the cocoon breaks and a completely new creature emerges from there - qualitatively transformed into its more perfect form. It does not immediately feel comfortable in its new state; it needs to get used to it a little and only then set foot on a new path. Butterflies begin to fly and pollinate flowers. People who have improved spiritually begin to illuminate the surrounding space with the light of their activities and set an example for others.
The image of a human with wings is one of the best metaphors for an enlightened personality. The girlish figure depicted in this work is the same person. She just got her wings. Look at her not very confident pose, the surprised expression on her face and her half-open mouth. She successfully completed her transformation. In a few seconds, the girl will make her first flight in her life. Transform yourself.
