Was born in 1963. I've been drawing since childhood. Have designer's education. I work as a teacher of painting and design in local college. Sometimes I do design projects. I have illustrated more than 50 books. I took part in many prestigious international illustration competitions. 2004 – was awarded by iBbY (International Council for Books for Young people) Honour List 2004 for the high quality illustrations, Basel, Switzerland and by the Certificate of Honour for Illustration (for “Piratic stories”), Cape Town, South Africa.
I paint pictures in my free time - for my own pleasure.

Cyprus. The Voice of Ruins

On the southwestern coast of Cyprus, among the ruins of ancient Kourion, time seems to stand still. Stones that have witnessed millennia gaze into the turquoise expanse of the sea, where the quiet voice of history can still be heard. A solitary Ionic column rises like a vertical of memory, standing amidst light and open space.
Above this silent scene, seagulls soar, linking the celestial and the earthly, the ancient and the present. Soft shadows and the play of light on the warm stone evoke a sense of tranquility, contemplation, and a striking presence of antiquity — not forgotten, but alive in the breath of nature.
