Born in 1980 in Antananarivo, Madagascar, where he lives and works, he has been dedicated to painting since 2001, after training alongside the artist Richard Razafindrakoto, who mentored many Malagasy artists. A key cultural figure in the local art scene, he has notably participated in artist residencies at Greatmore Studios, South Africa (2011), Arkane, Morocco (2017), and Thupelo, South Africa (2019).
