Artist from Madagascar
Born in 1980 in Antananarivo, Madagascar, where he lives and works, he has been dedicated to painting since 2001, after training alongside the artist Richard Razafindrakoto, who mentored many Malagasy artists.
A key cultural figure in the local art scene, he has notably participated in artist residencies at Greatmore Studios, South Africa (2011), Arkane, Morocco (2017), and Thupelo, South Africa (2019).
His work has been exhibited in Madagascar, France, Switzerland, Belgium, and the United Kingdom.

Né en 1980 à Antananarivo, Madagascar où il vit et travaille. il se consacre à la peinture depuis 2001, suite à sa formation aux côtés de l'artiste Richard Razafindrakoto, qui a accompagné de nombreux artistes malgaches.
Acteur culturel incontournable de la scène artistique locale, il a notamment participé à des résidences de création à greatmore studios, Afrique du sud (2011), Arkane, Maroc (2017) et thupelo afrique du sud (2019).
Son travail a été exposé à Madagascar, en France, en Suisse, en Belgique et au Royaume Uni.

Tahina RAKOTOARIVONY a imaginé, puis créé son présent à travers cette pièce. Partir du néant, c’est le plus grand défi des artistes, dont il fait partie. Cependant, derrière ce vide se cache finalement une beauté alléchante qui se révèle à chaque coup de pinceau 🖌️ .
