The third sketch metaphorically illustrates what I had to confront. The third shell-like shape reminds me of the infernal face of war that I witnessed in my own home. Just before the shelling and occupation of my hometown began, I saw a black silhouette approaching in the darkness — an archetype of destruction and danger. This stage of post-traumatic growth is marked by the constant haunting of this image and tragic memories.
