Pascal Hardy adopted Pierre Frisch's approach: not to force the realization of a subject that one would project in stone, but first to listen to it sing under the chisel, to observe it, then to accentuate its lines of force, to play with its characteristics, and finally to make emerge what can correspond to it among one's own ideas.
