I'm Ukrainian photographer and scriptwriter working at the intersection of documentary and personal storytelling. I studied scriptwriting for cinema and television, and photography at Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University.
I have been working as a freelance photographer since 2017, collaborating with musicians, actors, and cultural events, also documenting communities in eastern Ukraine affected by war.
I work both with digital and film photography, focused on portrait, documentary, and fine-art genres.
During the Covid era, I was filming a family-related project that I wanted to turn into a book. This project ended with the start of a full-scale war. Set during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project unfolds within the intimate space of early family life.
After I moved to the Netherlands with my son and husband I'm documenting the lives of temporary displaced persons in the shelter my search for home and search for something familiar.
