Art transformed Lanre Olagoke's life, and today his paintings reflect that same power to inspire resilience, hope, and human connection. Born in London and raised in Nigeria, Lanre found refuge in painting from the age of five. After overcoming homelessness and addiction, he dedicated his life to creating expressive works inspired by lived experience and the legacy of Professor Ben Enwonwu. Alongside his artistic practice, Lanre has helped more than 5,000 young people discover confidence through creativity. In 2024, he was awarded an MBE by HRH Prince William for his services to young people and charity. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at the National Gallery, and is held in notable private collections. Through every painting, Lanre celebrates transformation, resilience, and the enduring power of art to heal and unite.
