I am Nina Fedotova, a Ukrainian artist working with color, minimalism, and metaphor. My artistic practice combines minimalism, surrealism, and elements of pop art. My paintings are built around vibrant colors, simple forms, and symbolic imagery that invite viewers to look beyond the obvious. Chickens and ostriches are the central characters in my work. These metaphorical figures serve as tools for exploring human nature, emotions, behavior, and the ways people interact within society. Many of my paintings emerge as a response to personal experiences, including tension, uncertainty, and the realities of living in a country affected by war. Through bold color palettes and minimalist compositions, I seek to create space for reflection, irony, and fresh perspectives on everyday life. My work balances playfulness and depth, using visual simplicity to address complex emotional and social themes.
