This painting is a meditation on an inner transformation—one that cannot be rushed or forced.
The left side of the composition holds the shadows of past experiences: fears, losses, doubts, and limitations that once seemed insurmountable. Yet life never stands still. Through countless layers of petals, as if through the layers of lived years, a warm golden light gradually breaks through. It does not destroy the darkness, nor does it deny the past. On the contrary, it is born because of everything we have endured.
To the right, the space becomes almost weightless. There is more air, silence, and freedom. This is not just the future, but a state of inner acceptance, where one no longer battles oneself but simply allows existence to be authentic.
Created in flowing oil paint on a large scale, this work invites the viewer to pause and reflect on their own journey. It is a reminder that growth rarely happens all at once; it unfolds gradually, petal by petal, until one day we discover that the light we were searching for has been within us all along.
