Anna Lyashenko is a Ukrainian artist born in 1991 in Cherkasy, Ukraine, where she currently lives and works.
Her practice combines precision and detail with a search for metaphorical meaning. The works are created at the intersection of natural forms and personal transformations, reflecting the emotions as well as the states of mind of the artist. She explores the connections between life and fading, light and shadow, hope and frustration, fragility and strength, creating artworks which combine both technical skill and depth of feeling.
Anna's works take part in the exhibitions at the National Taras Shevchenko Museum and the National Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

On the outside, the petals look almost the same in every flower. But the deeper you gaze into the core, the more you feel absolute uniqueness. Layer upon layer, experiences, thoughts, and memories overlap. We are just as multi-layered, tender, and fleeting as these flowers.
Macrocosm within microcosm. One single flower becomes an entire Universe. On the surface — tenderness and openness. In the depths — complexity, shadows, and the incredible beauty of the inner world.
When the inner space becomes so deep that it no longer needs to be understood — only lived.
