“Blood and Milk” is a painting about taming the inner beast — confronting one’s own strength, instincts, and desires.
The massive black bull embodies primal, uncontrolled energy — a force that can be both frightening and seductive. The woman beside him remains calm: she no longer fights her inner beast or tries to destroy it. Instead, she has learned to coexist with it and to possess its power.
The cup of white liquid in her hands carries an explicitly erotic symbolism — it represents semen, a sign that the bull has been tamed. The image explores sexuality, power, physicality, and the acceptance of one’s wild nature not as something shameful, but as an inseparable part of the self.
