Marta Andrusenko
Artist from Ukraine
Marta was born in 1988 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Inherently creative from childhood. Marta began studying oil painting in 2017, but she only made a serious commitment to her artistic practice and exhibition work in 2023. She currently works primarily with acrylics and mixed media.
She explores the relationship between the inner world of a human and their environment. She is interested in the role of a human in this world, their subjective perception of the world under objective circumstances. Marta is not looking for answers to global questions, she examines a microcosm, the inner world of a person. She reflects on her life experiences.
Marta's artworks frequently incorporate elements of nature as symbols of beauty β unexplored, ephemeral, fleeting, and mortal. She draws parallels between these natural themes and the human experience. Marta communicates through abstract forms, bold and sharp brushstrokes, saturated colors, and florals all of which convey deep emotions and feelings that are integral to her work.

Diptych Flowers and Dots
Painting by Marta Andrusenko
30 x 50 cm β’ Canvas, Acrylic
One of a kind
A story told across two canvases. In this modern abstract piece, botanical elements meet vibrant bursts of color to represent the intersection of nature and logic. Itβs about how the environment marks us, influencing our thoughts and patterns. Through these floral forms and colorful dots/circles, Iβve tried to capture the invisible 'footprints' that the natural world leaves on the human soul.
Acrylic on canvas, varnished, 40x30 cm and 10x30 cm.
They both are ready to hang.
