Marta Andrusenko
Artist from Ukraine
Marta was born in 1988 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Inherently creative from childhood. Marta began studying oil painting in 2017, but she only made a serious commitment to her artistic practice and exhibition work in 2023. She currently works primarily with acrylics and mixed media.
She explores the relationship between the inner world of a human and their environment. She is interested in the role of a human in this world, their subjective perception of the world under objective circumstances. Marta is not looking for answers to global questions, she examines a microcosm, the inner world of a person. She reflects on her life experiences.
Marta's artworks frequently incorporate elements of nature as symbols of beauty β unexplored, ephemeral, fleeting, and mortal. She draws parallels between these natural themes and the human experience. Marta communicates through abstract forms, bold and sharp brushstrokes, saturated colors, and florals all of which convey deep emotions and feelings that are integral to her work.

Flowers, Stripes, and Dots
Painting by Marta Andrusenko
30 x 60 cm β’ Canvas, Acrylic
One of a kind
This contemporary artwork is a complex dialogue between organic floral motifs, rhythmic dots of color, and structured linear stripes. It explores the interplay between the wildness of nature and the rigidity of logic. The stripes represent the analytical frameworks we use to understand the world, while the blossoms/leaves signify natureβs lasting imprints on our psyche and souls. It is a visual study of how environmental influence meets human order.
Acrylic on canvas, varnished, 10x15 cm, 40x30 cm, 10x10 cm.
It is ready to hang.
