Kryvych is a contemporary interdisciplinary artist from Kyiv. She studied at the Madrid School of Fine Arts and spent two years training in the studio of Ukrainian artist Leo Limanenko. Her practice explores the mechanisms of human interaction with the world, revealing deeper layers of reality, truth, and being. Through her work, she addresses themes of dehumanization, estrangement from nature, and immersion in artificial constructs that distort our connection to the essence of life. She lives and works in Kyiv.

This painting I did with collaboration with ukraiinian artist Leo Limanenko as part of project âShadow of Abyssâ. I painted figure positioned in front of a breaking wave, suspended in a state of controlled stillness.
The body appears polished, almost synthetic â stripped of fragility, sealed from the environment.
The sea by Limanenko operates as a counterforce: unstable, rhythmic, continuously transforming.
In contrast, the figure resists change, embodying a state of post-organic presence.
This work explores the threshold where vitality becomes an image of itself â
where the living is no longer experienced, but performed.
