At the crossroads of worlds
Painting by Yulianna Verba
160 x 200 cm • Acrylic, Acrylic and oil pastel
Location:
lviv, Ukraine
Through this work, the exploration focuses on the figure of man as a borderline being, belonging both to the earth and the sky. The painting symbolically opens a space between dimensions, where matter and spirit, the real and the imaginary, converge.
The two small figures within the water portal serve as symbols of souls standing on the threshold of a new incarnation. They enter the space of duality to experience the material world and seek balance within it.
The work becomes a metaphor for transition, reminding us that true wholeness is revealed precisely at the border — at the meeting point of different dimensions of being.
