MAKSYM MAZUR
Artist from Ukraine
Maksym was born on March 25, 1990 in Reshetylivka, Poltava region, Ukraine. He is a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and a co-founder of the largest artist community in Ukraine, “Institut Avtomatyky”. He is deeply interested in the creative process of exploring different forms and methods to achieve the best possible visual expression of any particular material he works with. This approach involves experimenting with time and space, which are key elements in the creation of works of art. It is not just about choosing a colour or a shape, but about the interaction of these elements in the context of time and space, which leads to unique creative discoveries. “I am particularly fascinated by the use of unconventional materials. In particular, the use of paper and found objects to create collages and assemblages opens up endless possibilities for the artist. It is a way to bring elements of the real world into art, transforming ordinary objects into pieces of greater and deeper artistic expression. Experimenting with such materials allows the artist to express their ideas in original and unpredictable ways.”
