Round table
Reflect on...
Artwork details
In this work, I turn to the image of safety that modern humanity seeks in a controlled environment. Sterile surfaces, flawless textures, glossy shells — a world where every detail is predetermined and no threat can break through the smooth surface. There is no chance, no error, no wilderness.
The round table becomes a metaphor of this synthetic still life: an eternal cycle without exit, where life is simulated rather than lived. Behind its polished shine lurks the question — what do we sacrifice when we trade the unpredictable pulse of the living for the security of the artificial?
It is becoming so convincing that this synthetic still life looks so real, it can no longer be perceived as unreal. It marks the birth of a new truth.
