Ruslan continues the tradition of the Crimean impressionistic landscape school.
“The main source of inspiration for me is the southern nature. The leading theme of my works is the harmony of the coexistence of the landscape and a modern man. In landscapes, I emphasise the relationship between colour and light. The emotional impact of colour in painting is the most important factor for me, with colour being the main part of the work. The process of creating a painting en plein air is an incredible emotional outburst, the power of which I want to convey to the viewer."
