Sofiia Korotkevych is a visual artist from Lviv. She graduated in monumental painting (Lviv State College of Decorative and Applied Arts named after I. Trush) and art glass (Lviv National Academy of Arts).
One of the main focuses of her artistic interest is the archaeology of the present — researching the nowadays as a layer in which traces of experiences, events, and interactions between human and environment are preserved. In Sofiia’s works, landscapes and objects appear as carriers of these social symbols and memories. Her approach reflects a philosophy of interaction and intervention: manual labor is a way of thinking, and working with materials becomes a metaphor for the phenomena we encounter every day. The artist mainly works in art glass, installation, environmental art, graphics and video.

9:20 - is one of the linoprints of an "Engraving the memory seria". It's dedicated to russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Engraving the moments of rockets around the Ukrainian cities resulted in the realization of 2 total opposites in front of me: the destruction of Ukrainian cities, which is carried by rockets, and the foundation for plans and lives, which is symbolically carried by the construction site; the future and its possible sudden interruption.
The linoprint size itself - 19.5*18 cm. 6 out of 10 prints are available
