Imaginary fast black dots
Drawing by Nikita Vlasov
60 x 90 cm • Acrylic, China ink, Tyvek
A work in the style of abstract calligraphy—the primary artistic direction of Nikita Vlasov.
Created using a mixed-media technique with Chinese ink, acrylic, and airbrush. The piece is executed on Tyvek, a synthetic paper by DuPont. This material allows the artwork to be displayed without glass, as the artist believes that calligraphy should be viewed without any barriers between the material and the viewer’s eye.
