Between Reality and Dream - Limited Edition
Prints by Egor Guschin
21 x 28 cm • Art paper
Location:
Paris, France
This photo from the project "Between Reality and Dream" reveals deep symbolism through the harmonious combination of the female figure and nature. At first glance, the viewer sees the naked figure of a woman merging with a large, fragile image of a flower, superimposed by a second layer in the double exposure technique. However, the fact that the flower was turned over to cover the feminine beginning is significant, creating a sense of both protection and intrigue. This artistic technique adds a new level of interpretation to the photograph: the flower, which usually symbolizes fertility, rebirth and natural beauty, here becomes a means of protection and concealment. It simultaneously envelops and protects the feminine essence, hinting at vulnerability and the need to preserve intimacy. The woman depicted in the photo holds her hand on her chest, as if in a gesture of self-preservation or self-acceptance, emphasizing the connection between the body and the flower. The transparency of the layers gives the composition a feeling of ephemerality, as if it is a moment between a dream and reality, where nature and man merge into one. This juxtaposition of the naked figure and the inverted flower creates a balance between openness and concealment, sensuality and protection, emphasizing the deep connection between the body and nature that exists on a level beyond the material world. This photo from the project "Between reality and dream" reveals deep symbolism through the harmonious combination of the female figure and nature.
