Artwork details
Artwork from the series “Red-blue” is in public collection (Bakota Hub art space).
This painting depicts the state of anxiety and panic that arises in me during air alarms. Since I live near a significant infrastructure object, with every alarm, it seems to me that the rocket is aimed directly at my house.
I used dark and rich colors, including blue, gray, and red, to convey the mood of fear and threat.
The red sky symbolizes the impending danger.
The hunched human figure in the painting reflects my feelings of helplessness and fear in the face of danger.
Through this work, I tried to free myself from these emotions and emphasize the common psychological challenges that all Ukrainians have encountered to some extent.
