THE War Fragments Museum is a unique art project aimed at bringing attention to the war in Ukraine through the creation of cubes with artifacts of the war. The project was born out of a desire to give a voice to the civilians affected by russian invasion and to raise awareness about its consequences. Items suspended in glossy clear cubes offer a powerful visual representation of the impact of war on people's lives. Each cube represents a story of survival, capturing the personal experiences of those affected by the war. The team of the project traveled around Ukraine, in its de-occupied towns and villages, territories that suffered the most, to collect stories and objects that represent them. By showcasing the fragments of war in a visual striking and though provoking manner, The War Fragments Museum hopes to encourage reflection, empathy and action from its viewers. Through the sale of the cubes, the project also aims to raise funds for humanitarian aid in Ukraine. The War Fragment Museum represent a powerful example of how art can be used to address social and political issues and create meaningful change.
