Graphic art and embroidery complement each other in my practice: the line is fast and precise, the thread is a repetitive movement. When I stitch through paper, it helps me gather my thoughts and find calm.
Many of my works are about home β not only as a place, but as a feeling of safety, trust, and support.
This diptych evokes very warm, cozy, and at the same time, faint nostalgic feelings. The minimalist, naive drawings of a bird, a plant, and a small animal are reminiscent of children's illustrations or primitive cave paintings. There is nothing superfluous here β just the pure essence of form.
