In this new mirror collection, the changing seasons take center stage. The colour palette is inspired by rainy days, yellow leaves, and the muted tones that fill our surroundings with the arrival of autumn.
The collection’s name is no coincidence. Terre verte, or green earth, is a natural pigment extracted directly from soil and clay, and it captures the noble palette of the wild landscape more perfectly than any other. Together with its sister, ochre, these two pigments evoke a gentle, earthy coolness, warmed by the dry scent of grasses. Magical autumn is always about endings, but also about an ever-renewing beginning.
In some regions of Italy, a stroke of terre verte was once left beside the entrance to a house to protect the home. We offer this kind of protection in the shape of autumnal floral mirrors.
