Larissa Uvarova
Artist from Cyprus
I am Larissa Uvarova, Ukrainian artist. I don't create objects. I create states. Have you got the feeling that deeply inside it is always quiet? No chaos, no rush. Just calmness and love. My work begins from that place - from the desire to make visible what is usually felt but not seen. Each painting is an invitation to pause, to step away from noise, and to gently return inward.
You do not need to understand the painting. You only need to notice what resonates.
Through subtle transitions of color and minimal forms, I build spaces where emotion can unfold naturally. If, while looking at my work, you feel warmth, silence, or a soft internal response, then the space is already alive.
I like to create on a medium and large canvases, mainly 120x120 cm, 100x120 cm, 200x150 cm, etc. I work with oil on canvas, layer by layer, until I achieve a complex color that sounds and feels like movement, how the Universe moves and vibrates.
I have been exhibiting her artworks since 2012 in Ukraine and Europe.

A quiet dialogue between vibrant color and inner stillness.
This minimalist artwork captures the feeling of emotional warmth, openness, and calm energy through bold gradients and a distant horizon line.
The contrast between the glowing orange sky and deep green landscape creates a sense of spaciousness and inner balance — like a silent moment at the edge of day and night.
Rather than depicting a specific place, the piece invites the viewer into a state of pause, clarity, and emotional breathing space.
Perfect for contemporary, minimalist, and calming interiors.
