The work is about the news coming from eastern Ukraine during the Russo-Ukrainian war. It reflects the unwavering support Ukrainian soldiers show one another in the face of mortal danger, alongside the pain of civilians who can only watch and receive the news from the front. The painting explores the contrast between solidarity within immediate danger and the helplessness of those witnessing the war from afar.
