I live and work in Kyiv, where I am a contemporary artist whose practice explores how time changes memory and how personal experience shapes our perception of the world. I focus on moments of change, when the familiar becomes unfamiliar and familiar images acquire new meanings. My artistic practice is deeply shaped by the experience of living through war, motherhood, and attempts to maintain a connection with myself in a changing reality.
Combining drawing with hand embroidery using red thread, I reinterpret familiar images of nature, home, and human experience, exploring how fragility, loss, hope, and the search for support intertwine within them. I currently work primarily on paper, using graphic materials and textile elements. The line, punctures, and red thread become part of a visual language in which the process of creation itself takes on particular significance. Through these materials, I explore how personal experiences transform familiar images and what remains of them after loss, rupture, and attempts to restore a connection with oneself and the surrounding world.

"Neighbors" is a graphic diptych that explores the delicate balance of coexistence through a unique blend of graphite pencil and red thread embroidery on thick paper. The plot unites two distinctly different worlds: a naive, linear bird standing beside a deeply textured potted flower, and a voluminous, heavily shaded triceratops dinosaur. Together, they create a profound visual metaphor for unexpected neighborhood, communication, and silent connection.
The meticulous graphic strokes imitate the rough, organic texture of wood and charcoal, adding a grounded, tactile quality to the drawing. In contrast, the thin red thread acts as a vivid emotional and physical accent. It literally pierces the paper, introducing subtle internal movement and evoking a poignant sense of fragility, protection, and shared space.

This is an original mixed-media artwork consisting of two modules, each measuring 20x20 cm. Total dimensions as a diptych are 20x40 cm. Created on high-quality white paper using graphite and sewing thread. Signed and dated by the artist on the back of each piece. Sold unframed; requires framing under glass. Ideal for modern minimalist and contemporary art interiors.
