Bouquet, two bottles of whisky, gine, wine and cognac
Painting by Oleksandr Topchyi
60 x 75 cm β’ Canvas, Oil
One of a kind
In my work, there is a series of works dedicated to one of my favorite artists, Mark Rothko. And this artwork is one of them.
The painting's title can be interpreted in various ways.
On the one hand, it's a list of everything the viewer sees on the canvas. On the other hand, the term bouquet refers not only to flowers but is also used to describe aromas, shades, and halos in a glass of wine or other aged drinks.
And the third interpretation is more humorous: one can imagine a company that sat at the bar all evening and collected such a bouquet... One can only sympathize with the participants of such a feast tomorrow morning.
