WE HAVE GONE BANANAS! by Carlos Eduardo Plaza
Mixed media by CARLOS PLAZA
28 x 22 cm • Plastic, Styrofoam
Art is whatever you can get away with — Andy Warhol
Up-cycled styrofoam tray, with a plastic banana attached to it using duck tape.
Pollution is one of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. TAM addresses this issue by increasing public understanding of the impact of plastic waste while highlighting accessible, creative solutions. Through exhibitions, educational programming, workshops, and community partnerships, we provide hands-on opportunities for individuals of all ages to engage with sustainability in a tangible and inspiring way.
By transforming everyday consumer plastics into thought-provoking art, TAM reframes waste as a resource and encourages a culture of responsibility, innovation, and environmental stewardship.
Our goal is simple yet ambitious: to empower people and organizations to take positive, measurable action toward reducing plastic waste — turning awareness into action, and trash into treasure.
