My art is about honesty with myself — an attempt to speak about pain and hope, about life, and about the ability to remain oneself even in dark times. Graphic art and embroidery complement each other in my practice: the line is fast and precise, the thread is a repetitive movement. When I stitch through paper, it helps me gather my thoughts and find calm. Many of my works are about home — not only as a place, but as a feeling of safety, trust, and support.

Painting by Viktoriia Hunina
75 x 75 cm • Paper, Graphics
Location:
Kyiv , Ukraine
A minimalist graphic work about fragility and responsibility. A black figure, resembling a human or a tree, holds a small house. The work reflects balance, tension, and inner support the moment when something deeply important depends on you. Graphite on paper, hand-made texture, space, and silence.
