My art is about honesty with myself — an attempt to speak about pain and hope, about life, and about the ability to remain oneself even in dark times.
Graphic art and embroidery complement each other in my practice: the line is fast and precise, the thread is a repetitive movement. When I stitch through paper, it helps me gather my thoughts and find calm.
Many of my works are about home — not only as a place, but as a feeling of safety, trust, and support.

"In Waiting"
Drawing by Viktoriia Hunina
50 x 70 cm • Graphite, Graphics, Blackandwhiteart, In on paper
Location:
Kyiv , Ukraine
A graphic artwork created in mixed media: pencil drawing with red thread embroidery.
At the center is a protea flower, its petals tightly closed, as if protecting something within.
On one of the petals, a small boat is delicately hand-embroidered.
It seems to have paused, preparing for a journey that hasn’t yet begun.
