Artist from Ukraine
I was born and live in Lviv. I graduated from Lviv Polytechnic with a degree in Design, where I developed my interest in visual language, composition, and working with form. In my artistic practice, I draw on the aesthetics of naïve art. I am attracted to its sincerity, simplified forms, and direct emotional expression, which allow meaningful storytelling without unnecessary complexity. I work with zoomorphic characters and botanical elements that help create clear and accessible visual narratives. My works often focus on themes of love, tenderness, support, and mutual care. Through simple, concise imagery, I aim to convey emotional states that are understandable and relatable to everyone. It is important to me that a painting is not only decorative but also communicative — telling a small story or highlighting a particular mood. I work as an artist and illustrator, developing a personal approach that combines aspects of naïve art, contemporary composition, and my own visual perspective.

Good Night
Painting by Olha Imshenetska
80 x 80 cm • Acrylic on canvas, Foil, Acrilic
Location:
Lviv, Ukraine
“Good Night” is a visual lullaby - a quiet meditation on love and protection. At the heart of the composition are three rabbits immersed in a moment of stillness and closeness. Their closed eyes and soft, flowing lines evoke trust, peace, and emotional harmony. The glowing moon behind them becomes a symbol of guardianship and life’s cyclical rhythm, while the stylized night forest forms a safe, timeless space. Ornamental details and a richly textured surface give the work decorative depth and tactile presence. This painting reflects on family bonds, childhood memory, and the universal longing for home a feeling we all carry and seek to preserve.
