Andrii Dudchenko
Artist from Ukraine
Andriy Dudchenko was born in Yevpatoria, Crimea. Ukrainian painter. In 2002, he graduated from the Crimean Art School named after Mykola Samokysh in Simferopol and the painting faculty of the Kyiv Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. The artist's works were created under the influence of metaphysical painting, and his paintings show a subtle sense of loneliness and alienation in the modern world. The artist expands the gallery of faceless images, adding the issue of gender and space-time identification, without which the acquisition of one's own "face" is impossible. So, in the end, the artist's experiments with formal and literary citation pursue only one goal - to encourage an imaginary "young person" to "reevaluate his priorities and values, acquired in the process of socialization, to consciously rediscover the foundation of his own personality" (Andrii Dudchenko).
