The tree of life, the main symbol of the universe, combines earth, water, sky, and fire. The sun at the top is the goal of spiritual elevation, the light of truth, and higher intelligence. Two birds are the guardians of world order. They symbolize the masculine and feminine principles, day and night, earth and sky, which together give life. The earth with geometric patterns is the embodiment of the foundation of the world, fertility, and home. Diamonds are a symbol of the field, grain, and fertility. Squares symbolize orderly space, stability, and the foundation of life. Fish symbolize water, the underground world, and the source of life. Grasshoppers symbolize movement, vital energy, and the connection between humans and the earth. Stars and birds symbolize the heavenly part of the universe, the spiritual principle, and inspiration. The vytynanka “From the Earth to the Sun” is a Ukrainian image of the universe, in which everything that lives is interconnected: from the depths of the earth to the radiance of the heavens. It symbolizes the path of human life and spiritual growth.
