Aliona Koroliova
Artist from Ukraine
Ukrainian artist. I live and work in Kyiv.
My art is born from silence, from that space where words are no longer needed.
This is the moment when the breath of nature coincides with the rhythm of the heart, when light touches the soul and it begins to speak with color.
I am inspired by nature and its harmony, unattainable simplicity and perfection. One has only to stop and see: art is everywhere.
My main source of inspiration is the sky. Its constant changeability reminds me of the movement of life, that not a single second will be repeated. Every shade of the sky is a new state, a new feeling, a new mood.
When I paint, time ceases to exist.
There is only color, breath, silence, and I am an observer of how something living is born inside.
My paintings are not an attempt to convey a plot or thought. They are about a state, about feelings that cannot be explained.
Everyone who looks at them sees their own.
And this is precisely the point. After all, true art begins where words end.

Composition #4 is аn abstract series “Cloud”where light and shadow shape the atmosphere of space and time. Through translucent layers of paint, smooth gradients, and textured veins, a sense of clouds, horizons, and the breath of air is created. Each canvas is a window onto infinity, where the viewer can experience calm, expanse, and an inner moment of silence. This work speaks of the transitions between the obvious and the hidden, of memory and dreams, and invites us to consider our own personal heaven in every glance.
