Natalia Shpeh (pseudonym - Talia) is a young Ukrainian artist. Born in the village of Stoyaniv, she currently lives in Lviv, where she is studying philosophy at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
Tali's main medium is painting on canvas. In her work, she focuses on depicting the human body as a universal carrier of experience and inner feelings. The artist works with a limited palette of four basic colours, which have become a kind of calling card of her style. For her, they symbolise the primary elements of life - fire, earth, air and water.
Through colour and form, Talya explores the boundary between the physical and the spiritual, trying to convey the invisible - inner states, emotions and human existential search. Her studies in philosophy are organically intertwined with her art, filling it with reflections on meaning, existence and the place of man in the world.
Her works can be seen as a visual philosophical essay - an attempt to find harmony between the sensual and the rational, the material and the metaphysical.
