K19 functions as a platform that supports artists in shaping their voice, realizing art projects, launching collaborations, and presenting their work to the public. The project spans exhibition-making, curatorial formats, art management, consulting, and artist support, while also facilitating the sale of artworks. The name K19 originates from Apartment No. 19, where the first physical gallery was meant to open. The war disrupted that plan — but not the essence of the project. Today, K19 operates beyond the limits of physical space, as a mobile and evolving structure dedicated to supporting Ukrainian art.

Genesis
Painting by Bogdan Kryvosheya
140 x 180 cm • Canvas, Acrilic
Location:
Kyiv, Ukraine
Creators: Roman Shcherbakov aka Dase X Olga Breka This work is an exploration of how a new world can be born out of chaos, out of a formless space of ideas that gradually acquire structure and meaning. Through visual language, the artist offers to dive into his own subconscious and experience the process of creation, witnessing the birth of a new, unknown world. The artists explore the process of creation through the synthesis of geometric and organic forms. They symbolise different aspects of the beginning of the existence of a new world - material and spiritual. The work conveys the idea of a new world that is born through perception and emotion, becoming a reflection of the inner space, the process of self-discovery, where the artist acts as a mediator between chaos and order, abstraction and reality.
