Viktoriya Sendetska
Artist from Germany
I am an artist from Ukraine, currently living in Germany. I hold a degree in architectural design, which has shaped my sense of spatial composition and bodily plasticity. I work exclusively with oil paints, experimenting with texture, color tension, and sensual figuration. What I love most about oils is their depth, density, and ability to convey physicality.
My work is an open dialogue about desire, vulnerability, and inner strength. It balances between eroticism and personal dramaturgy. I paint what is not always easy to say — but can be felt through the skin.
My paintings have found resonance with viewers from different countries — they live in private collections and have been exhibited in art spaces across Ukraine.
I am currently working on a series dedicated to the theme of female desire as an autonomous force.

Before the Altar of Two Forces
Painting by Viktoriya Sendetska
55 x 35 cm • Oil and canvas
Location:
Essen, Germany
She walks barefoot across the stone floor of the temple. In front of her — two altars: one to Kali, the goddess of transformation; the other to Lakshmi, goddess of prosperity and harmony.
She does not choose between them. She prays to both.
Because true feminine power is not only light, but shadow too. Not only the ability to give life, but also the strength to destroy everything that no longer serves love.
In her gaze, calm and tension at once. She knows: to blossom, sometimes you must burn.
This painting is about balance. About embracing opposites within. About an intimate conversation with the goddesses that live inside each of us.
